Horticulture

We have 5 hectares dedicated to organic vegetable production where we develop natural solutions to the obstacles it faces on the road to sustainability, such as productivity and the need for organic nitrogen.

The sustainability and continuity of agriculture are, first of all, dependent on having healthy and productive soil. One of the major objectives is to reduce agricultural production factors by using biodiversity, as well as to test and increase profitability, always following a more future-oriented vision.

To do this, it is necessary to promote the soil's biological life, and it is sometimes necessary to aerate the superficial area, while avoiding revolving in-depth, leaving the soil covered and protected from the elements.

FUN FACTS

Did you know that we can increase biodiversity through the practice of rotations and intercropping, with a diverse crop sequence?

Did you know that we promote the increase of the organic matter rate of the soil, through the incorporation of organic fertilizers or green manure and soil cover, either with living plants, cultivated or spontaneous, or crop residues?
