Biolog is the national platform dedicated to promoting and enhancing organic farming in Portugal. It brings together producers and other operators, organizations, and consumers who share the commitment to building a more sustainable, circular, and regenerative food system.
As part of its mission to give visibility to best practices and success stories in the organic sector, biolog announces the opening of the biolog Awards 2025, an initiative that recognizes and celebrates projects that stand out for their innovation, sustainability, and positive impact on society and the environment.
This year, the awards include four categories:
Innovation – The most innovative organic project, distinguished by originality and the creation of economic, social, and/or environmental value.
Social Sustainability – The story that stands out the most for its positive impact on the community, through job creation, support for vulnerable groups, promotion of education, or preservation of natural resources.
Regenerative – The project that best promotes the regeneration of ecosystems and natural resources.
Public Award – A special recognition granted by the public, who can vote for the story that inspires them the most.
Applications are open until November 12, 2025, and are aimed at operators registered with biolog with projects related to organic farming.
The winners will be announced on December 5, during the I-Danha Food Lab, a leading event in agri-food innovation and sustainability.
Interested participants should submit their story via email to biolog@biolog.pt, with a maximum of 2 A4 pages.
