Discover the Secrets of Soil at the 2nd Edition of the EIT Food RIS Inspire HealthySoil4Life Summer School

Following the success of the previous edition, we are thrilled to announce the 2nd edition of the EIT Food RIS Inspire - HealthySoil4Life Summer School!

This program is designed to cultivate entrepreneurial skills and empower individuals in the agri-food and sustainability sectors. Get ready to gain knowledge about agriculture and acquire the tools needed to lead innovative products in the agri-food industry! Registration for the HealthySoil4Life Summer School is open until June 30th!

Did you know that a single teaspoon of healthy soil can contain up to 10⁹ bacteria, along with thousands of fungi and other microorganisms? This biodiversity accounts for over 25% of the planet's total biodiversity and is essential for decomposing organic matter and cycling nutrients. Healthy soils play a crucial role in climate regulation and carbon storage, with microorganisms working 24/7, 365 days a year to support these processes. It is also estimated that soils store more carbon than the vegetation and atmosphere combined!

Want to learn more about soil health? Don’t miss out – join us!

Combining entrepreneurship training with innovation in food production will equip you to create solutions for global challenges such as climate change and health. The program is developed and delivered by an outstanding collaborative group, including European universities, research institutes, food sector companies, farmers, and agri-food startups. Check out the speakers here.

This course spans three weeks:
